Care Instructions

TruLife ACRYLIC Fine Art

TruLife Acrylic cleans like glass. It is scratch resistant but NOT scratch proof!   Wipe down the acrylic with a microfiber cloth. Spray acrylic with plastic cleaner (do not use harsh chemicals like ammonia or alcohol-based cleaners). Any gentle monitor or glass cleaner will work. Wipe off acrylic with a microfiber cloth. Make sure that the surface is wiped dry to prevent streaks. (Do NOT use paper towels, as they may scratch the acrylic.). Just wipe with any non-amonia/non-alcohol cleaner (Windex) using a non-abrasive microfiber cloth.

Best Cleaning Method:

Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth – Gently wipe the surface to remove dust and fingerprints.
Dampen with water or an acrylic-safe cleaner – Lightly mist a microfiber cloth with distilled water or a plastic cleaner like Novus 1 (do not spray directly on the acrylic).
For stubborn smudges – A mix of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol (70%) can help break down oils without damaging the coating.
Wipe in a soft, circular motion – This prevents streaks and ensures even cleaning.

What to Avoid:

No ammonia-based cleaners (like Windex) – These can cause cloudiness or damage the anti-reflective coating.
No paper towels or rough cloths – They can leave micro-scratches.
No excessive pressure or rubbing – Acrylic is durable but can scratch if cleaned too aggressively.

By using gentle, non-abrasive cleaning methods, your TruLife Acrylic Print will remain crystal clear and vibrant for years to come!

Chromaluxe METAL Fine Art

High Gloss metal cleans like glass. Wipe off acrylic with a micro

Best Cleaning Method:

Use a microfiber cloth – Gently wipe away dust and smudges to avoid scratches.
Dampen with water or mild glass cleaner – Lightly spray a lint-free microfiber cloth (never spray directly on the print).
For tougher smudges – A mix of water and isopropyl alcohol (70%) can help remove fingerprints or stains.
Wipe in a circular motion – This prevents streaks and maintains the glossy finish.

What to Avoid:

No paper towels or rough cloths – These can scratch the surface.
No ammonia-based cleaners (like Windex) – They can cause damage over time.
No abrasive cleaners or pads – This will dull the finish and potentially scratch the print.

By using gentle, non-abrasive cleaners, your ChromaLuxe High Gloss Print will stay vibrant and flawless for years!

DiBond Brushed Metal

Dibond brushed metal prints have a sleek, industrial finish, but they require gentle care to maintain their appearance without scratching or dulling the surface.   While these prints offer unsurpassed durability with UV-cured ink, it is best to use a microfiber cloth when cleaning them to avoid scratching the surface. You can clean it with any mild cleaning product or soapy water. (They will scratch so don't pick at any spot!) Air dry.

Best Cleaning Method:

Use a dry microfiber cloth – Lightly dust the surface to remove fingerprints, smudges, and debris.
For light smudges – Dampen a lint-free microfiber cloth with distilled water and wipe gently in the direction of the brushed grain.
For stubborn marks – Use a mixture of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol (70%) or a small amount of mild dish soap with water.
Buff dry with a clean microfiber cloth – This prevents streaks and keeps the brushed metal looking sleek.

What to Avoid:

No ammonia-based cleaners (Windex, glass cleaners) – They can damage the brushed finish.
No abrasive pads, paper towels, or rough cloths – These can scratch the surface.
❌ DO NOT pick at a spot on the art – The art will scratch!!
No excessive water or soaking – Too much moisture can seep into the edges and cause damage over time.

By using gentle, non-abrasive cleaning methods, your Dibond brushed metal fine art will maintain its modern, high-end look for years to come!

Canvas

Canvas prints are durable but require gentle care to avoid damaging the surface or texture. In order to maintain the art's original vividness you should avoid long-term exposure to sunlight, and avoid hot and humid areas. You can dust the canvas regularly, but make sure not to use any chemicals.  Follow these steps to keep your canvas fine art print looking its best:

Best Cleaning Method:

Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth – Lightly wipe the surface to remove dust and debris.
Use a soft brush for deeper dust removal – A clean, dry paintbrush or feather duster works well for textured surfaces.
For light smudges – Dampen a lint-free cloth with distilled water and gently dab (do not rub) the affected area.
Keep prints in a dry, controlled environment – This helps prevent warping or mold growth.

What to Avoid:

No household cleaners or sprays – Chemicals can damage the canvas or alter the colors.
No excessive moisture – Too much water can weaken the canvas and cause warping.
No rubbing or scrubbing – This can damage the ink and textured surface.

For long-term care, keep your canvas art away from direct sunlight and high humidity, and clean it gently as needed. This will help preserve its vibrant colors and fine details for years to come!

Acrylic Block

Acrylic blocks have a sleek, modern finish that requires gentle care to maintain their clarity and shine. Follow these simple steps to keep your acrylic block art looking pristine:

Best Cleaning Method:

Use a microfiber cloth – Lightly wipe the surface to remove dust and fingerprints without scratching.
Dampen with water or acrylic-safe cleaner – Lightly mist a lint-free microfiber cloth with distilled water or an acrylic-safe cleaner like Novus 1 (never spray directly on the block).
For smudges or fingerprints – A mixture of distilled water and isopropyl alcohol (70%) can break down oils without harming the acrylic.
Buff dry in circular motions – This prevents streaks and keeps the surface smooth and clear.

What to Avoid:

No ammonia-based cleaners (Windex, glass cleaners) – These can cause cloudiness or damage the surface.
No paper towels or rough cloths – They can leave scratches.
No excessive pressure or scrubbing – Too much force can create micro-abrasions.

By using gentle, non-abrasive cleaning methods, your acrylic block fine art print will stay vibrant, glossy, and crystal-clear for years to come!

More about Lisa Blount Photography

Meet the Artist: Lisa Blount

Where memories, moments, and meaning come together through the art of photography.

Lisa Blount Experience Photographer and Fine Art

Hi, I’m Lisa—photographer, storyteller, wife, mother, experience-chaser, cat-herder and lover of all things nature and travel.
I don’t just take pictures. I create visual experiences that spark connection, bring joy, and turn a house into a home.

For me, art has never just been about capturing something pretty—it’s about capturing something personal. The way the light hits a quiet mountainside, the colors swirling through lichen on a rock, the stillness of a place that made you feel something you can’t quite explain. That’s what draws me in.

Since ART is a true reflection of what the artist sees, feels, and interprets - it is therefore a reflection of ones self .... thru their ART.

A Little Backstory

Born in California, raised in Arkansas, I’ve lived within seven miles of my grandparents’ 1936 homestead since I was ten. As an only child of

Lisa Blount artist/owner of Lisa Blount Photography - Fine Art wall decor for home or office space.

an only child, I spent a lot of time creating—scrapbooking, designing, collecting memories, and turning them into keepsakes. That early creative spark still fuels me today.

My love of photography started young (I was the kid with disposable cameras on every trip), but it really took off about 14 years ago before a family vacation to Yellowstone. I bought my first “real” camera for that trip—and that’s when everything changed. I began seeing the world differently—through textures, light, movement, and mood—and I haven’t stopped since.

Why I Create

My art is personal, and always rooted in experience. When my boys were young, I photographed our adventures so they could relive the memories in scrapbooks. As my parents aged—especially my dad, who battled vascular dementia—I began using photography as a way to preserve his memories, too. Watching him reconnect with faces and places through photos reminded me that art is about more than beauty—it’s about meaning, memory, and the moments that matter most.

That’s when Lisa Blount Photography took on a deeper purpose.

What Makes My Art Different

Lisa Blount, Photographer, action shot in Yosemite National Park

It’s not just a photo. It’s a feeling.

I call myself an Experience Photographer because my work goes beyond the lens. Each piece is meant to evoke emotion, spark reflection, and create a connection—whether it’s to a place you’ve been, a dream you hold, or a memory you never want to forget.

Scale matters.

Most of my art is created large—like, several-feet-wide large—because seeing it on your wall is a completely different experience than seeing it on a screen. It’s bold. It’s immersive. It’s meant to stop you in your tracks.

Museum-quality materials only.

I print exclusively on premium materials like TruLife Acrylic, ChromaLuxe High Gloss Metal, and Dibond Brushed Metal—each chosen for their ability to bring out color, depth, and detail in a way that feels alive. Everything is custom-crafted and digitally signed for authenticity.

The Personal Side

Family First. Always.

I’ve been married to my husband Jim for over 30 years, and together we’ve raised two incredible sons who (in my completely unbiased opinion) hang the moon. They’ve been a part of this journey every step of the way—as travel companions, equipment carriers, art installers, and my biggest supporters.

They’re also my why. They inspire me to keep creating, keep growing, and keep telling stories through art.

We love to… Travel, Laugh, do Escape Rooms and Call the Hogs!

Giessbach falls in Interlaken Switzerland - beautiful place to visit!Lake Louise in Banff Canada - one of my bucket list places and it did not disappoint! We love to do escape rooms all across the world.Blount family cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks! GO HOGS!Top of the Rotunda in the US Capitol Building in Washington DCSchilthorn, Interlaken, Switzerland - cold summer day!

What do I love to photograph?

Honestly? Whatever catches my eye. I never force a shot—I wait for the moment to unfold. I’m especially drawn to nature, abstract patterns, textures, and color. And lichen—yes, lichen! It’s like nature’s tiny abstract painting, and I’m obsessed.

Abstract metal wall art depicting vibrant green lichen and moss patterns on tree bark, titled 'Tree Lichen.'

Art + Design = The Perfect Pairing

Art isn’t just for walls—it’s part of how a space feels. That’s why I’ve created mood boards that pair my artwork with color palettes, furnishings, and interior design styles. They live on my blog and are a great way to imagine how a piece might look in your space.

I also host exclusive Art, Wine & Design events in partnership with local designers. These invite-only evenings are filled with good conversation, beautiful spaces, and of course, lots of art. If you're an interior designer or art lover, let’s connect!

Q&A:

The Art Buying Experience

Everything you need to know before bringing a piece home.

Q: Isn’t it just a photo?
A: It starts as a photograph—but it becomes fine art. Every piece is carefully edited, professionally printed, and crafted with premium materials that bring out color, light, texture, and depth. My art is large, bold, and designed to be a focal point in your space.

Q: What makes your work different from mass-produced prints?
A: Unlike mass-produced art, my pieces are custom-created and printed on museum-quality materials like TruLife Acrylic, ChromaLuxe Metal, and Dibond Brushed Metal. Every piece is digitally signed and made to order—bringing you a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Q: Do you offer limited editions?
A: Yes! I offer several limited edition pieces that are signed, numbered, and exclusive—making them collectible works of art for your space.

Q: Is your art made in the USA?
A: Absolutely. Every piece is printed and assembled right here in the U.S., supporting multiple small businesses along the way.

Customization & Sizing

Because art should fit your space—and your story.

Q: I don’t see the size I need—can you help?
A: Definitely! Most pieces can be custom-sized to fit your wall perfectly. Just reach out with your dimensions and I’ll be happy to provide a quote.

Q: How do I choose the right size for my space?
A: A good rule of thumb: art should cover about ⅔ to ¾ of your wall space, or 60–75% of the furniture width it hangs above. You can also tape out sizes on your wall—or contact me for help. I even have a blog post all about it!

Q: Do you offer framing?
A: Most of my art is designed to be displayed frameless with a museum-style float mount. But if you’d prefer a frame, I can custom quote one for you!

Caring for Your Art

Beautiful and built to last—with just a little TLC.

Q: How do I clean and care for my art?
A: It depends on the material:
TruLife Acrylic: Use a microfiber cloth and acrylic-safe cleaner (no ammonia).
High Gloss Metal: A damp microfiber cloth or water/alcohol mix works great.
Dibond Brushed Metal: A dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth does the trick.
Canvas: Dust gently; avoid moisture.

Need detailed tips? Visit my Cleaning + Care page.

Q: How is the artwork installed?
A: All of my large artwork comes ready-to-hang with a museum float mount. No frame needed. Just use a sturdy wall cleat system (instructions included). And I’m always happy to help if you have questions!

Shipping, Returns & Gifting

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Since each piece is custom made just for you, production takes about 14 business days, with shipping around 5–7 days depending on your location. You’ll get tracking info as soon as it ships!

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: At the moment, I only ship within the U.S., but if you're international, reach out—I’m happy to check options and get you a quote.

Q: What if my art arrives damaged?
A: If your piece is damaged during shipping, please contact me immediately with photos of the box and artwork. I’ll make it right and replace your piece at no cost to you.

Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
